- Remember that not all thoughts are true. Remind yourself of this when you’re overthinking.
- Use this tip to try and find distance from your thoughts.
- Learn about the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors cycle to see how much your thoughts can impact you, and grab some tips for how to stop the cycle.
- If your thoughts are negative, try this exercise to recognize and challenge them.
Over the next week, try to watch at least one of these tips each day and see if it helps to reduce your overthinking. You can also come back to them when you need a refresher.
